Oh What Shall We Do?

There have been some grumbles, some questions, and even some interesting speculation about the lack of recent updates to MilMo.  Then before the weekend got into full-swing, the always helpful Sara posted in the game forum why we were experiencing the lack of something new to do.  Due to Junebud's development of a game for the iPad, known as Tuff Tanks, the developers are allocating their human resources to getting this interesting and fun looking game ready for release.  (I am still waiting for a hint that we may see this game in the Google Play store, but so far, mum is the word)

As one can expect, the sly comments and rumblings manifested into worries, complaints, and general Domesday-like predictions.  I, however am not too concerned, largely because I can always find something to do in the game, and I take heart that Junebud always keeps us abreast of what is going on in their dynamic little slice of Sweden.

So for my readers, I have compiled a little list of how you can still entertain yourself playing MilMo until our developers get their new baby away from hanging onto the furniture and out to taking its first steps on its own.  And maybe, some of you can pull yourself from your despair and follow my lead:
  • Mentor a new player.  Go loiter around Lightmill or Kraken Islands and see if you can give a hand to an under Level 10 player.
  • Recruit new players and help them along through the game.  As a new player, there is so much to do so I am thinking that a new game update will not be a worry for them for awhile.
  • Take a look at some of those new medals, especially those of the crafting variety.  Buy yourself some Rag Converters on Kraken Island and go collect Fluff for awhile...that will certainly require quite the time investment.
  • Contribute to the Unofficial MilMo Wiki.  There are images you can contribute and information that can be updated.  If you do not want to edit a page but do want to contribute you can always send your information and image files to me at alianoremilmo@hotmail.com.
  • Collect your gold coins and/or star tokens and buy some loot to upgrade your house...although the debate is still strong, it will be interesting to see who gets the first silver-colored Secret Shipment and exactly what they had to include in their home to get them to that level.
  • Hunt down some legendary items...rumors are that lock boxes dropped by bosses have a tendency to contain some of those more desired items.

blue lock box looted from Visitor Island boss.

  • Be positive...if you just like to find the negative, well not much to say that will change that less-than-desirable trait, but for those of you who love the game and are feeling a little down...show your love for MilMo!  Visit the game forum and start a thread that supports Junebud and ALL of their efforts, although they will not forget us or their game, it might be a nice little boost to the developers to hear something positive from us rather than what is going wrong.
